The majority of parking lot "B" at the Chappaqua train station will be blocked off beginning on Thursday, Sept. 28 at 8 p.m. and lasting until Saturday, Sept. 30 at 6 p.m., according to the New Castle Police Department.

The closure is a result of the upcoming Chappaqua Children’s Book Festival, which will be held on Saturday.

Motorists are asked to obey all posted no parking signs during the closure. Any vehicles left in the restricted area will be ticketed and towed, police said.

Those attending the Book Festival should enter the train station through Washington Avenue and park in the parking lot "C."
